James Booth, Jr.

Jimmy Booth is a financial associate of Booth Financial. He has been with the firm since graduating from college in 1997. He holds general securities and registered securities principal licenses through INVEST Financial and oversees Booth’s licensed registered securities representatives. He holds insurance licenses for life, health, disability, long term care, and property and casualty coverages. Previously, he worked as a sales associate in a Booth Financial-operated, bank-sponsored investment and insurance program located in Suffolk County, NY.

Jimmy was born in Gaithersburg, MD and moved to Norwalk, CT in 1977 where he still resides. He holds a BS degree in Political Science from Southern Connecticut State University. He is treasurer of the Norwalk Jaycees, a non-profit civic organization. Jimmy remains an active parishioner at St. Matthew's Parish in Norwalk, CT, where he volunteers his time to help run and support religious retreats for teenagers and. He is an avid runner and volunteers during the summer months at local races run by the Lightfoot Running Club of Norwalk. As a runner, one of the main goals that Jimmy wishes to achieve in life is to run a marathon in every state inside the United States. Thus far he has completed eighteen marathons including a marathon in Dublin, Ireland and Ottawa, Canada.
